2013 Conference Highlights

The 1st Annual International Conference on Human Milk Science and Innovation brought together scientists from around the world to see a whole new vision for infant nourishment and protection in the neonatal/perinatal intensive care unit (N/PICU) for the 21st century. During This 2-day program, scientists and clinicians on the cutting edge of the evidence-based nutrition research discussed advances and identified future opportunities in nutrition science. Emphasis was places on application of these advances to the clinical use of human milk in order to achieve long-term health and well-being of the youngest members of society.
